New Appointment - Kothrud Police Station

Hello Citizens, Kothrud Area,

I Kalyanrao Vidhate deputed as "Sr. Police Inspector" at Kothrud Police Station since June 2012.  Prior to this I was posted at "Cyber Crime" division in Pune City.

I will appreciate the continued co-operation from all of you to maintain law and order in Kothrud area and prevent the crime.

Workshop on "Communication Skills" at Kothrud Police Station, Pune City

A Workshop was conducted on "Communication Skills" during 18th December, 2010 in Kothrud Police Station for Police Officials of Kothrud Police Station, Pune. 

During this Workshop fundamental importance of Communication concept was presented to Police.  The various types of Communications and application of these types for Crime Prevention,  Detection and to Improve on Public relations were thought over.  A topic on how to use "Body Language" for Crime detection and interception was also discussed.

A brief presentation was given on how importance is given by "Police" in outside countries like China, Singapore, United Kingdom on "Communication Skill".  The specific details on "Police Scanner" was appraised to Police officials for their specific region which should be coded by region specific Police Stations.  "Emotional Intelligence" a very important aspect in Communication Skill was also presented which was well appreciated.

 How "Communication Skill" plays vital role in relieving stress of Police, improve their family relations was also appraised to Police Officials.  "Networking" a very important subject was demonstrated with various examples to Police officials.

There was a spontaneous response from all Police officials demonstrated during this workshop. 

Shri Chandrakant Ghodke, Sr. Police Inspector suggested that such workshops will be helpful to Police in terms of improving their deliverable and to improve Public relations. He also expressed that such Workshops will be conducted in Kothrud Police Station for improving image of  Police in society which must be coupled during Crime prevention and detection.  The workshop on Presentation Skills, Communication Skill - Second Phase, Cyber Crime will be conducted in future shortly for Kothrud Police. "Mission Safe" for Kothrud area will also be implemented during year 2011.

He inaugurated "Kothrud Police Innovation" blog and posted best wishes of new year to all citizens.
